Wendi Sturgis

Wendi has spent the last twenty years working in the technology, media and internet space. She is currently the EVP of Sales and Services at Yext, a Sutter Hill / IVP backed NY based startup. Prior to her role at Yext, she was the NA Head of Account Management and Search Sales where she managed a team of over 800 associates in the US and India. In her role as the head of Search Sales, she was responsible for all GTM activities and the successful migration from Yahoo! Panama system, to MS AdCenter. Wendi joined Yahoo! through the Right Media acquisition; where she was the head of Client Services.
 
Prior to Yahoo!, Wendi served as an RVP of Oracle Consulting, COO of Gartner Consulting and VP East Coast Operations for Scient. While at Scient, Wendi grew the NYC office from 50 to 600 colleagues in less than 20 months. Wendi started her career at Price Waterhouse in their media and entertainment practice where she learned to code, and ultimately ran significant system development projects for large media clients.
 
Wendi serves on the Dailyworth.com and Student Transportation America (Stock: STB) boards. She is passionate about having an impact in her community and supporting women in their personal and professional development via her service as a national board member of Step Up Women’s Network. Wendi graduated from Georgia Tech with an industrial management degree and currently serves on the Georgia Tech Advisory Board.
