Dave Passavant

David B. Passavant is the senior vice president, banking innovation center director for PNC Bank. David’s group leads efforts to bring innovative business and technology thinking into PNC, and works with business leaders across the bank to find and incubate innovative ideas. David also leads the PNC Center for Financial Services Innovation, a newly established research partnership between PNC and Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to joining PNC Dave led a consumer product innovation group at UPMC, a health care system in Pittsburgh, PA. David has held consulting positions with Accenture in Washington DC and with strategy and design consultancy Stone Yamashita Partners in San Francisco and New York City. David has also held product and business development positions at two successful venture-backed Silicon Valley startups, Rearden Commerce and SquareTrade Inc. David holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from Washington & Lee University and an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
